Our client is a respected leader in the resources sector, delivering mining and civil contracting services across WA. This is a hands-on, fast-paced HR support role where no two days are the same. Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll be a key support for both office and site-based teams—keeping HR processes running smoothly from recruitment through to employee care and record-keeping.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, fast-paced HR support role where no two days are the same. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, helping to keep our HR operations running smoothly from recruitment through to employee care and record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and issue employment documentation, including letters of offer and employment variations
- Manage end-to-end recruitment administration:
- Advertising roles
- Screening and shortlisting candidates
- Scheduling and attending interviews
- Coordinating pre-employment medicals and compliance checks
- Respond to low-level HR and employment-related queries in a professional and approachable manner
- Maintain and update HR spreadsheets and databases, including employee movements, training, licences, and site rosters
- Liaise with site personnel to support workforce planning, onboarding, mobilisation and general HR coordination
- Assist the HR team with ad hoc projects, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Previous experience in an HR administration or broader administrative support role
- Mining/resources or contracting experience is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
- High attention to detail and confidence with spreadsheets (Excel) and HR/administration systems
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage competing demands
- A team-focused mindset with a willingness to “pitch in” wherever needed
- A discreet and professional approach to handling confidential information
