Description:

Assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable -
Supporting the month-end close and preparation of financial reports -
Working closely with operational teams to record and process sales, purchasing, and operational transactions -
Assisting with cash flow monitoring and basic treasury accounting -
Processing payroll data accurately and in a timely manner -
Reconciling bank accounts, supplier statements, and intercompany balances -
Maintaining accurate accounting records, journals, and supporting schedules -
Preparing draft management and financial reports for review -
Assisting with BAS, FBT, and payroll tax compliance -
Supporting year-end processes and external audits -
Ad hoc finance and administrative tasks as required
Requirements:
-
Sound understanding of core accounting principles -
Experience with invoicing, payment processing, and month-end reporting -
Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office -
Exposure to foreign currency transactions -
High attention to detail and accuracy -
Degree in Accounting or a related discipline -
Actively pursuing or recently commenced CPA or CA qualification
