- Assist in the reconciliation of investment portfolios and related accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address queries and provide information.
- Monitor and report on fund performance metrics and investment activities.
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function.
- Assist in audits and ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Requirements:
A successful Junior Fund Accountant / Investment Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and investment accounting practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
