We’re seeking an experienced Buyer to shape aralina’s seasonal collections; driving product strategy from concept to delivery. This role blends trend insight, data-led decision making and creative vision to curate effortless, fashion-forward ranges for our global customerJob Responsibilities:Accountability for allocated category, from product design, development & “upload” deliveryWork alongside merchandise team (China base) to lead product strategy, which aligns with seasonal SWOT & lessons learntBuild a product plan that aligns & supports the overall aralina brand strategy that fosters a unique point of view & competitive advantageUnderstand the target audience thoroughly and consistently design styles that align with our customer as well as align with our data insights.Set and achieve monthly goals for the creation of new styles, recolours & trade updates that demonstrate a proactive approach for sales growthMake informed decisions regarding fit, fabric, colour adjustments to ensure styles meet quality & customer expectations.Conduct comprehensive trend & retail research to stay abreast of the latest developments in key looks, style, colour, trending fabrics, ensuring this knowledge is considered and reflected as a quick response and applied in future ranges, prior to handover.Review & attend virtual fit sessions in partnership with production & supply chain teams, (based in China) that maintain a high standard of quality and are fit for purpose aligning to brand expectationsInfluence best practice decisions to junior team members, and provide which provide guidance, foster collaboration which aligns with company objectives & standards.Attend weekly trade meetings prepared to discuss product performance, share insights, and strategies for future success & opportunityJob RequirementsBachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferredMust have at least 5-10 years of fast fashion vendor buying experienceProven experience in apparel buying, with a focus on understanding customer preferences and market trendsStrong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendorsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed buying decisionsRegular international travel to China – up to 4 times per year
