Social Media & Content Executive

CAFOM AU
Sydney Full-day Full-time

Description:

The Brand

We are a heritage European furniture brand for over 40 years. Now preparing for an exciting new chapter. Known for design, creativity, and modern living, we are launching with a strong digital-first mindset and a focus on building an emotional connecting with a new generation of customers.

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established brand at the ground-floor of its next evolution, helping shape how it shows up in Australia.

The Role

We’re looking for a Content & Brand Executive who lives and breathes social media. This role is perfect for a hands-on content creator who knows how to create engaging content that not only tells a story but can sell products. Grow engaged communities, and translate brand values into compelling visual storytelling.

You’ll be responsible for shaping our social presence across key platforms, creating scroll-stopping content, and helping define the brand’s tone, look, and feel in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities

· Create, edit, and publish high-quality content across social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and emerging channels)

· Build and grow a social media following from launch, with a focus on engagement and brand affinity

· Capture and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories)

· Collaborate on brand campaigns, launches, and product storytelling

· Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all content

· Track performance and optimise content based on insights and trends

· Build content and blogs for digital touchpoints

What We’re Looking For

· 2–3 years’ experience in social media, content, or brand roles

· Strong content creation skills — you’re confident shooting and editing your own content

· Experience using tools like CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or similar

· Previous experience with retail, lifestyle, or consumer brands (furniture or interiors a plus)

· Genuine interest in interior design or styling would be advantageous

· Deep understanding of social trends, formats, and platform best practices

· Highly creative, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

· Previous experience with content scheduling software (Hootsuite, Planoly or similar)

Why Join Us

· Play a key role in launching an iconic European furniture brand across Australia

· Creative freedom to shape a brand’s social presence from day one

· Work closely with a passionate, design-led team

· Opportunity to grow with the brand as it scales

· This role will be based at Alexandria and is office based 5 days a week.
