Traffic is an integrated brand communications and digital agency working with ambitious organisations across the Asia Pacific in property, automotive, retail, professional services, infrastructure, lifestyle and emerging technology sectors.


We create brands, campaigns and digital experiences that drive commercial outcomes, from brand strategy and identity development, through to integrated campaigns, digital experience and ongoing activation.


Currently we are looking for an experienced Digital / Graphic Designer who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, who can bring digital and creative concepts to life in a meaningful and impactful way. While digital execution is a core focus of the role, you'll work across integrated brand and campaign projects, creating work that spans digital, presentation and print applications.


This role is suited to a designer with strong design and digital craft who is fluent in modern design tools. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director, GM, Design Director, and Developers to deliver high-quality digital work across multiple brands and campaigns.


This is a permanent contract position.


Key Responsibilities:


Digital Design & Campaign Execution

  • Design digital campaign assets including social media, display advertising and online communications
  • Create EDM layouts and responsive digital assets
  • Design landing page layouts for desktop and mobile experiences
  • Prepare and optimise assets to platform specifications and performance requirements
  • Roll out and localise campaign assets across multiple formats and channels


Creative Development & Brand Execution

  • Translate briefs into strong visual solutions
  • Develop mockups, layouts and visual concepts
  • Support creative ideation and brainstorm sessions
  • Maintain consistency across brand systems and client style guides
  • Design marketing collateral including presentations, brochures, signage, masterplans and campaign materials


Production & Delivery

  • Deliver accurate, production-ready artwork across all channels
  • Prepare files for both digital and print applications where required
  • Conduct quality checks on layouts, formatting and outputs
  • Manage assets and maintain organised project files


Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with designers, strategists and developers
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Contribute ideas and proactively solve design challenges


Skills & Experience

  • 3–4 years’ experience in an agency or in-house design environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both digital and graphic design experience
  • Fluent in Figma (component systems, auto layout, prototyping and collaboration workflows)
  • Proficiency across full Adobe Creative Suite - in particular InDesign, AfterEffects & Premiere Pro
  • Experience in Wordpress
  • Understanding of responsive and digital-first design principles
  • Experience designing campaigns across social, digital advertising and EDM formats
  • Strong typography, layout and visual communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational ability
  • Great communication skills and a proven ability to work methodically to meet deadlines


AI & Future-Ready Design

Although not essential, we would love to hear from designers who are comfortable working with emerging tools and workflows, including:

  • AI-assisted design and creative ideation tools
  • Image generation and visual exploration platforms
  • Productivity and workflow automation tools
  • Curiosity toward new technologies shaping design and marketing

(Expert-level knowledge is not required — curiosity and willingness to learn is.)


Requirements

  • Relevant Design qualification (Bachelor or Diploma preferred)
  • Portfolio required (applications without portfolios will not be considered)
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Melbourne Based (Permanent Contract Role)
