OVERVIEW


The Creative Strategist is the "Aesthetic Data Scientist" and the trusted creative lieutenant of Alf the Label. Occupying a vital seat at the intersection of high-level brand vision and aggressive growth data, you are the bridge between raw performance metrics and high-end visual storytelling.


You are a rare hybrid: an ex-media buyer who speaks the language of Ads Manager, but possesses the refined, high-end sensibility required to scale a global luxury brand. You will act as the strategic right hand to our Creative Director (CD)/Founder, immersing yourself in the Alf aesthetic until you are a seamless extension of her eye.


With a multi-million dollar marketing budget, you will engineer the visual assets that stop the scroll, protect our brand moat, and drive our ad account to new heights.


  • Location: Fremantle Head Office (in-person role)
  • Reports To: CEO/Founder
  • Core Hours: Full Time, 37.5hrs per week, roster flexible as needed (core hours 9am -3pm)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


CREATIVE PROXY AND VISION ALIGNMENT

  • Strategic Right-Hand: Act as the artistic lieutenant to the Founder, learning her aesthetic direction so deeply that you can anticipate her vision and act as her proxy in creative reviews and on-set.


  • Pre-Shoot Concepting: Collaborate directly with the CD to discuss all upcoming lifestyle shoots, ensuring the visual narrative is 100% on-brand before the production engine begins.


  • Aesthetic Guarding: Alongside the CD, lead the creative direction for high-end lifestyle imagery and video, ensuring the "Alf Look" is never compromised while being optimised for performance.


PERFORMANCE CREATIVE AND AD ACCOUNT SCALING

  • Creative Volume & Velocity: Own the creative roadmap for our multi-million dollar ad account. You are responsible for ensuring a high volume of fresh, "on-brand" concepts are ready for deployment.


  • Iteration for Scale: Use data to identify winning ads and lead the strategy to iterate—testing new hooks and visual variations to aggressively scale the ad account while maintaining a high-end luxury feel.


  • Testing Frameworks: Design and execute sophisticated creative experiments to prove which visual elements drive the highest ROI.


SOCIAL MEDIA ARCHITECTURE AND GROWTH

  • Omnichannel Strategy: Develop high-impact content concepts for both the Alf the Label brand account and the Founder’s personal channels, focused on both discovery and deep community engagement.


  • Growth Scheduling: Manage a comprehensive social media calendar designed to attract new followers and nurture our existing tribe through platform-native storytelling.


  • Community Intelligence: Translate raw insights from our community into polished, strategic content pillars that resonate with our target demographic.


LEADERSHIP AND CREATIVE BRIEFING

  • Mentoring the Creator: Lead and mentor our in-house Content Creator, translating complex performance data and brand vision into precise, "production-ready" briefs and storyboards.


  • Operational Synergy: Synchronise shoot schedules with our global inventory and launch calendar to ensure we have the right assets for every milestone.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Experience: Demonstrable experience in Performance Marketing, Creative Strategy, or Art Direction within a high-growth D2C or luxury brand.
  • The "Ex-Media Buyer" Brain: Proven ability to navigate Meta/TikTok dashboards to find the creative story; you understand how creative fatigue impacts the bottom line.
  • Scaling Specialist: A track record of using creative testing and iterations to successfully scale high-spend ad accounts.
  • The "Luxury" Eye: A portfolio that demonstrates a sophisticated, high-end aesthetic alignment.
  • Strategic Humility: You take pride in being a strategic extension of a Founder’s vision, balancing data-backed opinions with brand-led direction.
