(Full-Time/Part-Time option | Hybrid, Chatswood NSW | Salary Dependent on Experience)



About the Role

We are on the lookout for a dynamic and socially-savvy Brand & Social Media Content Creator to join the Murad Australia team. Reporting to the Marketing, Digital & Communications Manager, this hands-on, mid-level role will play a critical part in shaping our brand narrative and visual presence across all channels and customer-facing touchpoints.

Murad is entering an exciting new phase of brand evolution in Australia. As we continue to strengthen our position in clinical, results-driven skincare, we are increasingly focusing on a 40+ audience - a confident, educated consumer seeking performance, expertise and authenticity. This role is pivotal in communicating with that audience; we are looking for someone who not only understands this demographic but genuinely connects with them and is excited to put their best face forward across all platforms - social and others. You will confidently step in front of the camera, sharing skincare education, routines, and real results in a way that feels credible, relatable and aspirational for a 40+ community, as well as editing behind the scenes.

You’ll be a gun with Canva & Adobe Creative Suite. You’ll be across social listening. You’ll be a natural networker. Whether it's crafting UGC content, compelling Instagram Reels, creating retail POS, or designing beautiful promotional assets, this role is for someone who is not shy and likes to be in front of the camera, whilst having skills behind it and someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should also have a deep passion for brand, beauty, and content that converts.

But this role is not all beauty! You will have a keen eye for detail, paired with strong data-driven conviction. You will enjoy a ‘test & learn’ environment where quality AND volume of content both take centre stage. You will understand what the algorithms prioritise and you will create and tweak content to optimise for maximum impact and return.



Topline Objective

  • Support all sales channels with creative assets, marketing collateral, and compelling storytelling that elevates brand presence and drives engagement and sales - particularly within our growing 40+ audience segment.
  • Drive brand growth by developing and executing impactful content across our digital and social channels.
  • Bring Murad’s brand transformation to life by building trust, authority and relatability with a mature, results-driven skincare consumer.



Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Channel Support

  • Embrace AI software to produce engaging, high-quality written and visual content (static, video, and copy) tailored to each platform and sales channel including Instagram, TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Confidently be the face of the brand, creating educational, aspirational and results-driven UGC content that resonates strongly with a 40+ audience.
  • Develop skincare-led storytelling that reflects clinical credibility while remaining authentic and relatable.
  • Support marketing and digital campaigns with brand-aligned assets for email, website, social, and paid media.
  • Roll up your sleeves to manage content calendars, shoot days, product styling, and post-production editing.
  • Coordinate with the wider sales and marketing team to deliver assets that support promotions, launches, and seasonal campaigns across professional, retail and eComm channels.
  • Create multiple A/B testing groups and campaigns across both creative and targeting.

Social Media & Community Growth

  • Own the day-to-day management of social media accounts, posting schedules, content planning, and community engagement.
  • Build and nurture a strong Murad community amongst consumers, clinicians and influencers - with a particular focus on engaging and growing a loyal 40+ audience.
  • Increase social following and engagement through platform-specific strategies, trend-driven content, and performance analysis aligned to our evolving demographic focus.
  • Monitor competitor activity and social trends, bringing fresh ideas and innovation to the table that speak to mature skincare consumers.

Influencer & Partner Collaboration

  • Proactively manage influencer outreach, product seeding, and brand partnership initiatives.
  • Manage influencer relationships, content approvals, and post-campaign reporting.

Design & Creative Production

  • Create visually engaging graphics and motion assets using design tools (Adobe Creative Suite and Canva).
  • Work with AI tools and content platforms to enhance creative output, streamline workflows, and produce scalable content formats.
  • Ensure all assets are on-brand, optimised for each channel, and aligned with campaign goals.



Skills & Experience Required

• 4–5 years experience in a marketing, content, or social media role, ideally within the beauty, wellness, or lifestyle sectors.

• Strong understanding of - or personal alignment with - the 40+ skincare consumer and the confidence to authentically represent this audience on camera.

• Comfortable and confident being on-screen regularly as a brand spokesperson across social platforms.

• A natural creative with an eye for aesthetics, branding, and storytelling that balances clinical authority with warmth and relatability.

• Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).

• Hands-on experience producing content across TikTok, Instagram, Meta Ads, and organic social platforms.

• Confident using AI and digital tools to create, edit, and ideate content quickly and efficiently.

• Understanding of social metrics, engagement drivers, and growth tactics.

• Self-starter attitude with a bias for action — you’re not afraid to dive in, direct, test, learn, and refine.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
