Description:
- Oversee all financial accounting, management reporting, forecasting, and statutory compliance requirements, ensuring records and reporting meet Corporations Act standards.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, documented processes, and financial governance across the business.
- Lead quarterly, half‑year and year‑end financial reporting, liaise with auditors, and provide timely financial information to senior leadership
- Manage financial transactions, reconciliations, payroll, tax lodgements, and all related financial operations.
- Support budgeting, proposals, cost reporting, tendering, contract award, and contract management activities
- Prepare financial and management reports, maintain financial models (including royalty models), and contribute to due diligence processes.
- Assist with governance, compliance, and corporate administration, including support for board/committee papers, shareholder communications, and annual reporting.
Requirements:
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working within resources, exploration is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
