Rock Paper Scissors are currently seeking a skilled Cook to join their Port Melbourne team in a full time role working 38 hours a week.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook meals according to the café's menu and recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
• Inspect food items for quality, regulate cooking equipment temperatures, and store food appropriately to maintain freshness and safety.
• Portion food accurately, plate dishes attractively, and add appropriate garnishes to enhance visual appeal.
• Prepare meals that meet specific dietary requirements, such as gluten-free or vegetarian options, as requested by customers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring all equipment and work areas meet health and safety standards.
• Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient service and a cohesive work environment.
• Assist in menu development and estimate food requirements to manage inventory effectively.
