Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for patients? Ezekiel Eyes, a boutique, family-owned eye care practice in Nedlands, is looking for a friendly and proactive Receptionist(s) to join our team!
- Term: Part Time.
- Employment type: Job Share with one other receptionist (15-19 hours a week). We are looking for flexibility in the role to work set times weekly and also cover sick leave and holidays if/when required.

The Role: As the Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for ensuring smooth front-desk operations. This role involves appointment management, greeting patients, answering enquiries, and supporting the practice manager with day-to-day tasks. You will have a direct report to the practice manager who will support you if or when you need it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient appointments, confirmations, and reminders
- Greet patients, assist with check-in, and provide updates on wait times
- Process payments (including private insurance and Medicare)
- Answer calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Monitor stock levels for contact lenses and manage deliveries
- Support the optometrists with administrative tasks like billing, filing, and scanning
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to learn the computer scheduling system
- Excellent multi-tasking and communication skills
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in customer service is valued, but not essential
- A team player with a proactive attitude, eager to contribute to a positive patient experience
