ResponsibilitiesSupervise on-site erection of prefabricated steel structures for large industrial builds.Manage and coordinate all subcontractors, trades, and labour on site.Ensure works are carried out in line with steel fabrication plans, drawings, and engineering tolerances.Monitor safety, quality, and program adherence throughout the construction phase.Liaise with the Project Manager to align site activities with project timelines and delivery milestones.Resolve on-site issues promptly to maintain progress and safety standards.Maintain detailed site records, daily reports, and safety documentation.Lead daily toolbox meetings and enforce WHS compliance across all site activities.
Skills & ExperienceSolid experience managing construction sites with a focus on steel fabrication and erection.Strong understanding of structural steel components, connection methods, and assembly sequencing.Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and engineering documentation.Proven ability to lead and manage subcontractors, site crews, and material deliveries.Strong commitment to safety, quality, and site discipline.Trade qualifications or diploma in construction, steel fabrication, or a related field are advantageous.
