The Account Manager (AM) / Account Director (AD) is expected to manage projects and allocated accounts autonomously from scoping to final implementation, with supervision from the senior account service team and traffic jobs through the agency, providing the highest standard of service to our clients.
The AM/AD is expected to develop an in-depth understanding of each client’s business, the category they compete in, their brand, and their short + long long-term vision.
The AM/AD is expected to manage and attend client meetings, discussing advertising requirements. You will be responsible for preparing internal briefing documents, client presentations, as well as brief preparation and liaison with relevant external partners.
Key Duties: Act as the link between allocated accounts and BASHFUL by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively; Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements; Briefing and working with agency colleagues (both strategy and creative) to devise campaigns that meet the client's brief and budget; Timeline preparation to ensure adequate time is allocated and realistic turnarounds agreed on for projects. Then, managing this internally to ensure these timings are met. Alongside agency colleagues, presenting campaign ideas and budgets to the client. Briefing and management of external partners for the implementation of campaigns – media, publicity/ PR, printers, event producers, digital developers, talent agents, and still/video producers; Campaign budget management, including initial budget creation (with input from AD), estimate approvals, PO development, and invoicing. Responsible for JCRS on allocated accounts/projects each month. Writing client contact reports post every meeting and circulating to attendees; Managing live execution of projects, including monitoring progress, pre-empting and resolving any issues; Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns and the development of post-analysis; Actively monitoring relevant clients (and key competitors') community management programs. Management of content plans and client approvals, a close working relationship with the social media editor, and ensuring timings are met for all digital channel content. Undertaking administration tasks when required.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:
Hold a bachelor's degree or higher At least 2 years of experience in Account Management, ideally with demonstrated experience in fashion or luxuryExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Strong project management skills - time management, organizational, and planning skills The ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines Strong team-working skills Maintain clear communication lines with line manager and colleagues The ability to delegate and manage workflow within the team/suppliers effectively
