  • $15K Car Allowance

We're seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing team in the industrial automation and packaging machinery sector. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a client-facing environment and is passionate about uncovering new business opportunities across NSW and ACT.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers-building relationships, identifying qualified leads, and helping drive long-term growth.

You'll manage your own time and territory, balancing time on the road and at client sites with CRM (HubSpot) updates, internal collaboration, and ongoing learning. There's no strict structure to your week-just the expectation that you're out in market and getting results.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prospect and qualify new business across NSW/ACT
  • Engage potential customers and coordinate site visits and technical walk-throughs
  • Maintain accurate activity in HubSpot CRM and report on key outreach metrics
  • Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to build tailored proposals
  • Represent the brand at industry events and trade shows

What You'll Bring:

  • Previous B2B sales or business development experience
  • A background in mechanical trades or engineering (preferred, but not essential)
  • Excellent communication, time management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence managing your own schedule and workload
  • A strong interest in automation, machinery, or technical sales
