Asia electrical distribution networks and are now expanding globally.

Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing management and the Board with accurate, fact-based & timely information for making strategic and operational decisions, as well as ensuring accounting standards and polices are implemented and updated, and the control environment is maintained.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead the Local and Global Accounting functions

  • Be a pro-active partner to global and local management, providing sound financial analysis to drive fact-based decision making

  • Assure that accounting (Business and financial accounting) policies will be deployed and followed

  • Maintain and develop Accounting Policies, Guidelines and reporting against those policies

  • Consolidation of all business unit results on a monthly basis and preparing consolidated management accounts and own the financial statements

  • Responsible for maintaining the ERP across all group entities

  • Preparing various ad-hoc management reporting packs and presenting it to the senior stakeholders

  • Drive business improvement processes in the internal control and audit environments

  • Control the external audit process to ensure accurate audits and timely reporting

  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis for the half yearly and yearly reports

  • Liaise between 3rd party to fill global taxes

  • Management of aged debtors and invoicing

  • Management of insurance for the entire group

  • Intercompany accounting

Specialised Knowledge and Skills
  • CA/CPA

  • Experience in both financial reporting and management accounting

  • Excellent and up to date knowledge of AASB/IFRS

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting

  • Good working knowledge of taxation laws, including PAYG, FBT, GST, Payroll and income tax.

  • Strong command of MS Office tools, particularly Excel
