$62,713 per annum (pro rata) $31.73 per hour + 13.5% superannuation.

About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City by being the first point of contact between the general public and Council. You’ll assist clients with queries and payments—both face-to-face and over the phone—and provide general administrative support within the Customer Service Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality customer service and representing the Council professionally.
  • Managing requests and information flow using Council systems.
  • Assisting with queries related to development appraisal, animal management, and residential parking.
  • Processing payments accurately for rates, parking infringements, and other Council activities.
  • Providing general clerical and administrative support.

  • Certificate IV or higher in Front Line Management, Business/Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management systems.
  • Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
