* Salary range: $38.36 to $41.02 per hour (CA4)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
Parklands Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) is an aged care service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service which provides high level residential care to 70 residents including 30 places for residents with dementia.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
* Highly desirable: Graduate Certificate IV in Health and Community Services (Diversional Therapy).
* Must have completed 12 months post-grad internship. While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be regarded.
* Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
* National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
* Driver licence: This postion requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate license endorsement to operate this vehicle is required.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
* Probation period may apply.
* Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
