Centre Manager - Browns Plains Kids Early Learning CentreSalary: $100,000 – $110,000 p/a + up to 95% off the Gap Fee
Browns Plains Kids Early Learning Centre is a beautiful Reggio Emilia inspired centre located in Logan. Currently undergoing a full renovation, it caters to 88 children daily, aged six weeks to six years, with a dedicated OSHC building in "Schoolies World". The centre features a children's cafeteria, mud pit, water park, and art studio, providing a high-quality environment for children.

The successful applicant will demonstrate experience, dedication, and professionalism, supported by a Portfolio Manager and an experienced support team.
As Centre Manager, you will partner with the Assistant Centre Manager and Educational Leader to mentor, lead, and inspire the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Enhancing centre performance through proactive management of financials, occupancy, rostering, fee collection, marketing, wages, and administration.
- Assisting in the development of the new centre.
- Building a strong community presence and relationships with families and children.
- Developing and maintaining partnerships within the local community.
- Implementing and maintaining the centre's Quality Improvement Plan.
- Demonstrating excellent communication and time management skills.
The successful applicant will:
- Understand and adhere to all Queensland Childcare requirements, including NQF, NQS, EYLF, and MTOP.
- Show strong leadership qualities, be proactive, and possess remarkable people skills.
- Set high standards for staff and centre performance, nurturing staff morale.
- Work autonomously with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ideally, you will also:
- Express a genuine passion or interest in the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
- Have previous experience with a new centre build.
- Experience using Kidsoft software is advantageous but not essential.
