Description:
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax reporting requirements.
- Reconcile balance sheets and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for audits and financial reviews.
- Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Provide support for ad-hoc finance projects and initiatives as required.
Requirements:
The successful candidate should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications (CA or CPA preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Experience consolidating financial results for multiple business entities.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
- Previous experience in an ASX listed environment is highly regarded.
