Description:
- Provide expert advice on industrial and employee relations matters to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulations.
- Lead enterprise bargaining negotiations and manage industrial disputes effectively.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to promote positive workplace relations and resolve conflicts.
- Oversee the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance on performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication and consultation with employees and unions.
- Act as a trusted advisor on employment law and workplace matters.
Requirements:
A successful Manager Industrial and Employee Relations should have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of industrial relations laws and practices in Australia.
- Proven experience in handling enterprise agreements and industrial disputes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Commitment to upholding the values of the not-for-profit sector.
