Description:
The Management Accountant will be responsible for the following:
- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Perform the Accounting Review of approved invoices
- Preparation of monthly AR and AP reporting
- Review of prepared journal vouchers
- Review of bank reconciliations
- Preparation of Income Tax returns
- Quarterly preparation of income tax calculation
- Completion of quarterly GST/VAT returns
- Monitor and input inventories- raw material, work in progress, finished goods
- Monthly review of Bill of Materials for each product reviewing the quantities and pricing of each item and preparation of a report on any changes
- Monthly process of production orders conducted issue items for production and close completed Production Orders
- Review purchases, usage and wastage
- Perform Stock counts
- Prepare Quarterly Inventory working papers with commentary of variance
- Review and report on Obsolete items and finished product against manufacturing and sales forecast with commentary
- Prepare management reports and present critical analysis of results for Finance Manager
Requirements:
A successful Management/Cost Accountant should have:
- Part or fully qualified CPA/CA
- SAP/TM1 exposure preferred
- Experience in Management Accounting, Financial Accountant and Cost Accounting preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Availability for an immediate start
