Description:
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for and not limited to:
- Prepare financial statements for 8 entities
- Integration activities: Migration of acquired entities into the Group Structure
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes to assist in strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate and assist with external audits and tax reporting requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes where necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver financial insights and recommendations.
Requirements:
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong technical accounting skills and a sound understanding of financial principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
- CA/CPA Qualification
- Large Corporate, Audit or Business Services background preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems.
