Description:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for and not limited to:

  • Prepare financial statements for 8 entities
  • Integration activities: Migration of acquired entities into the Group Structure
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to assist in strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate and assist with external audits and tax reporting requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes where necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver financial insights and recommendations.

Requirements:

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and a sound understanding of financial principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
  • CA/CPA Qualification
  • Large Corporate, Audit or Business Services background preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems.
