Description:
- Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Maintain and improve financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
- Provide support to the Accounting & Finance department on ad hoc projects as required.
Requirements:
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CA or CPA) or working towards obtaining one.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of relevant standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in the Energy & Natural Resources industry is desirable.
