Description:
- Manage the company's tax compliance processes and ensure timely submissions.
- Oversee tax reporting and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to the business.
- Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address tax-related queries.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as required.
- Support senior management with insights and recommendations on tax matters.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across Australia, Singapore, the US, and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Manage payroll reconciliations, general ledger postings, audit support, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Administer superannuation, KiwiSaver, CPF, 401(k) and related payroll taxes in partnership with external providers.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employment setup, benefits, equity compensation, and drive payroll process automation and standardisation across regions.
Requirements:
A successful Tax Manager should have:
- CA/CPA (Australia or equivalent) required; CTA qualification desirable
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Australia.
- Proven ability to manage tax compliance and reporting processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
