Description:

  • Manage the company's tax compliance processes and ensure timely submissions.
  • Oversee tax reporting and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to the business.
  • Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address tax-related queries.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors as required.
  • Support senior management with insights and recommendations on tax matters.
  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across Australia, Singapore, the US, and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
  • Manage payroll reconciliations, general ledger postings, audit support, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Administer superannuation, KiwiSaver, CPF, 401(k) and related payroll taxes in partnership with external providers.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employment setup, benefits, equity compensation, and drive payroll process automation and standardisation across regions.

Requirements:

A successful Tax Manager should have:

  • CA/CPA (Australia or equivalent) required; CTA qualification desirable
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Australia.
  • Proven ability to manage tax compliance and reporting processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
