Description:
As Senior Payroll Officer / Lead, you will:
- Lead and mentor a small payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing.
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements, supporting payroll change management initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders to deliver education and outstanding customer service.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to audits, reporting, and workforce projects that enhance payroll efficiency.
Requirements:
- Strong payroll experience with exposure to coaching or mentoring others.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of payroll systems (Chris 21 looked upon favourably but not a prerequisite)
- Ability to interpret and implement Enterprise Agreements.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
