Description:
As Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely end-to-end payroll processing across multiple entities and states. This includes managing fortnightly pay cycles, reconciliations, terminations, and compliance with statutory obligations. You will also play a key role in supporting system enhancements and driving process improvements to ensure efficiency and a seamless employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely fortnightly payroll cycles across multiple entities.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes including onboarding, terminations, reconciliations, and out-of-cycle payments.
- Complete statutory reconciliations (Payroll Tax, Superannuation, STP) and respond to audit requests.
- Collaborate with People and Finance teams on projects and system improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll functionality and reporting.
- Provide exceptional customer service and payroll advice to employees and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Extensive payroll experience in complex environments.
- SAP experience
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Consultative approach with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
