Description:
As Payroll Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day payroll operations and leading a team of skilled payroll professionals. Reporting to the National Payroll Manager, you will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services across a complex, high-volume environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring the payroll team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Overseeing end-to-end payroll processing and ensuring compliance with legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements.
- Acting as the point of escalation for complex payroll issues and providing expert guidance.
- Driving process improvements and supporting payroll system enhancements.
- Partnering with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity and service excellence.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a complex, high-volume environment.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
- Advanced knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
