The Role
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. This role calls for an early-career professional, who is enthusiastic, has a keen eye for detail and a desire to learn.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll be a go-to person in our department, playing a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing and business initiatives
- Collaborate with other teams to create content to support their operations and activities
- Support the development of product and promotional materials, including branding, graphics, and digital content
- Create and schedule content for Nightlife’s social media platforms
- Have the confidence to approach peers to create social and marketing content
- Provide administrative coordination for marketing activities, keeping all project notes, records and supporting documentation accurate and up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in and a love for marketing and communications (1-2 years) – social media, content creation and campaign development
- Canva or other desktop publishing program experience—video editing experience is a plus
- Ability to comfortably balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences
- Good understanding of social media platforms and content best practices
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A passion for and desire to learn more across all facets of marketing
