About The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and oversee the department's strategy function with a future-focused approach.
- Provide strategic advice to the Director-General and Executive Leadership Team on key issues impacting portfolio priorities and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead innovative media and communication strategies, ensuring alignment with government objectives and commitments.
- Manage issues and reputational risks, including crisis communication obligations.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment that values diversity and inclusivity.
