Managing Director – Australia
Industrial Manufacturing | Rotating Equipment, Reliability, Mining | National P&L
This is an opportunity to lead a profitable, well established business within a global industrial manufacturing group operating at the intersection of rotating equipment, reliability engineering, and critical mining applications.
The role carries full national P&L responsibility, overseeing a large multi-site operation across Australia with a strong leadership team, long-standing customer relationships, and a clear runway for growth. The business is operationally sound, well invested, debt-free, and primed for growth.
This is a succession led appointment, offering the incoming Managing Director the time, support, and autonomy to step into the role thoughtfully; building credibility with teams and customers while shaping the next phase of growth. The mandate is evolutionary rather than corrective: scaling a high-performing platform through sales leadership, customer development, and disciplined execution.
- Lead a business with sales and service centre locations nationally.
- Full accountability for growth, profitability, and strategic direction
- Significant exposure to mining and critical end-user customers
- Partner closely with global leadership while operating with real local autonomy
- Shape long-term strategy across sales expansion, talent, and potential acquisitions
This role will suit a senior leader with:
- General Management or Sales leadership experience in rotating equipment, industrial OEM, reliability, or adjacent sectors.
- Sales leadership experience of a large geographically distributed sales team.
- Strong exposure to mining customers and operational environments
- A commercial, customer-led mindset with proven sales leadership capability
- Enough operational depth to govern execution without needing to run day-to-day operations
- A leadership style grounded in credibility, visibility, and respect for established teams
