The Capability branch is in the State Schools Strategy Division. The Capability branch is committed to investing in professional expertise for a confident and professional workforce to deliver what matters for every student. A key function of the Capability branch is the Education Futures Institute (EFI) that delivers high-quality, targeted and evidence-informed capability development for a multi-disciplinary workforce.
The role of Director Capability, Darling Downs South West Region is offered on a full-time permanent basis.
About The Role
As a Director, Capability you will play an important role in leading and coordinating the delivery of high-quality professional learning at the Darling Downs South West Region, Toowoomba.
Key Functions Of This Role Include
- Lead a team to contribute to and enable state-wide delivery of capability development aligned to the department's strategic vision, priorities and workforce needs.
- Lead and support a strategic approach to the development and delivery of a diverse portfolio of department wide, flagship and priority capability programs within the School Support and Corporate Capability portfolio.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, regions and corporate partners, lead organisations and industry partners.
