Description:

The Director, Strategic Operations Implementation, is a strategic role within the QAS, reporting directly to the Assistant Commissioner, Strategic Operations. This role provides strategic leadership and oversight of implementation management and monitoring of key initiatives across all areas within the Strategic Operations portfolio.

  • Demonstrated high level program and project management skills, including experience in effectively managing, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on programs and projects within a complex and demanding emergency service environment and/or broader health system.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and inspire a professional team in an environment of competing priorities and needs, with limited resources.


The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:

  • Whilst not mandatory, tertiary, or postgraduate qualification/s in business-related discipline will be highly regarded.
