Description:

The National Key Account Manager is responsible for:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with key retail accounts to drive sales growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services within the retail industry.

Requirements:

A successful National Key Account Manager should have:

  • Previous experience in sales or account management, ideally within the retail industry.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
