Description:
The National Key Account Manager is responsible for:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key retail accounts to drive sales growth.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates to stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise profitability and client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services within the retail industry.
Requirements:
A successful National Key Account Manager should have:
- Previous experience in sales or account management, ideally within the retail industry.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
