About The Opportunity
The Learning Designer provides advice on best practice engaging and innovative learning/instructional design and develops educational resources for the program and other deliverables aligned to the project in close collaboration with Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) project teams, Project Sponsor, Subject Matter Experts and Clinical Content Writers. The contemporary educational resources may include a series of eLearning modules, work integrated learning activities, formative and summative assessments, competency assessments and face-to-face or virtual workshops.

- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated experience in developing large and complex education programs for service industry organisations, preferably healthcare.
- Highly developed writing and composition skills for online learning.
- Proven experience in creating learning design strategy documentation, content planning, storyboards, design briefs and instructional material to a high quality.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders including subject matter experts (SME), content writers and contractors.
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint). High level exposure in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud e.g. Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, InDesign
- Demonstrated organisational and project management skills and ability to work under pressure, prioritise competing demands and be adaptable to achieve results both individually and for a team.
- Describe a situation where you have had a challenge with an online learning design solution and have had to take initiative and be creative in finding a solution. How did you adapt?
