About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, analysing business processes, and supporting the delivery of solutions that improve business performance and outcomes.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and working on change and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives
- Translate business requirements into clear specifications and user stories
- Support solution design, testing, and implementation activities
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings
- Analyse current-state and future-state business processes
- Support change management and user adoption
- Maintain project documentation and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and structured thinking
- Full working rights in Australia (Citizen, PR, or valid work visa)
- Experience in technology, digital, or transformation projects
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or Visio
- Experience with data analysis, SQL, or reporting tools
- Knowledge of process modelling techniques (BPMN)
- BA certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA)
- Experience in regulated or government environments
