JD for Business Analyst:
Overall 9+ years of experience in BA
5+ years’ experience in the financial services industry
3+ years’ experience working in a large and complex organisation and working with senior stakeholders and understanding their viewpoints
1+ years’ experience in an Agile environment, working as a Product Owner as well.
3-7 years of business process improvement/re-engineering, data analysis, system functional / non-functional analysis experience and business case preparation experience.
Lead Business Analyst in major end-to-end business process re-engineering or business transformation initiatives;
Lead Business Analyst in major information technology delivery projects ensuring solution enables business processes to deliver the desired business outcomes and value.
Facilitation of business solution workshops involving participants from senior management to business users.
A strong understanding of technology and business systems strategically and operationally;
Knowledge of project management disciplines and financial services; and
Coaching and mentoring skills.
Desired understanding of mobile apps and APIs
Desired basic SQL understanding
Ability to work in a very technical environment
Self managing and proactive. Willing to complete own investigations of current state.
Able to delve down into details
Able to complete as-is vs to-be assessments
Strong workshop facilitation and documentation skills
Great at communication and building relationships
Has worked in scrum and SAFE agile environments
Able to create user stories and acceptance criteria
Capable of reviewing solution documentation against requirements to validate solutions
