We're Hiring! Social Media Manager (Part Time) Sydney Based
Hey there, future MDS team member! 👋🏼
We’re on the lookout for a Sydney-based Social Media Manager to join our team at The Modern Day Social a luxury social media agency working with some of Australia’s biggest haircare brands (including Original Mineral O&M) and international hair and fashion names.
If you have an eye for aesthetics, love creating scroll-stopping content, and want to work on exciting shoots, this could be the perfect role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing:
✔️ Creating high-impact social media strategies for clients
✔️ Producing engaging video & graphic content using tools like CapCut & Canva
✔️ Attending content shoots across Sydney to capture brand magic
✔️ Writing compelling copy & captions that convert
✔️ Planning, organising, and delivering content with precision
What We’re Looking For:
✨ Minimum 3 years of experience in social media or marketing
✨ Proficiency in CapCut or other video editing software
✨ Strong copywriting skills & creative storytelling ability
✨ Graphic design skills (Canva/Adobe Suite)
✨ A keen sense of trends, aesthetics, and brand voice
📍 Must be Sydney-based and available for in-person shoots upon request.
