Description:
The Senior FP&A Manager will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports to track key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data and analysis.
- Analyse financial performance and identify trends or opportunities for improvement.
- Support decision-making through detailed financial analysis and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and finance regulations and standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals to achieve organisational goals.
Requirements:
A successful Senior FP&A Manager should have:
- Must have exposure to Energy sector (gas or electricity), generation or retail
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and CA/CPA
- Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis within the energy and natural resources industry.
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Exposure to derivatives is ideal
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
