About The Role

This role sits in the Content team and assists the management of Arts Centre Melbourne’s social media channels, including community management, and supports content creation for brand, event and experience activities to drive strong customer engagement.

Full-time, ongoing position. Band 2.2.15 $67,440.88 plus superannuation.

About You

  • A creative thinker with experience in content ideation and creation
  • Experience with implementing social media campaigns
  • Detail oriented with exceptional written skills
  • Proven ability to connect and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About The Team

The Destination & Audience team is responsible for maximising audience engagement in Arts Centre Melbourne’s enriching experiences. Through the delivery of compelling campaigns, creative and content, the Marketing team attracts and engages customers with our brand, offer, community and services.

Your Skills And Experience (key Criteria)

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent transferable skills in a marketing, advertising or media environment
  • Solid understanding of social platforms with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
  • Strong knowledge of social media management platforms
  • Effective written and oral communication, including proofing and editing
  • Ability to create video phone content
  • Ability to plan and organise work in a timely manner
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft programs and digital scheduling tools
  • Eagerness to learn about new social content innovations and trends
