Purpose
Flipping traditional thinking on its head, Point 3 look at design from all perspectives to turn great ideas into unique experiences. Through the power of collaboration, we make brands more exciting, connected and valuable. Together we shift and shape our collective future and create design that positively impacts people, brands and balance sheets. Working with Design Directors and Finished Artists you will support the creativity of design projects. The role will encompass work in identity and packaging from conceptualisation through to implementation and artwork. You will work with Point 3 Design, Strategy, Realisation, and Client Services teams to help create distinctive brands with meaning and longevity.
Role Description
As a creative mind, you will be able to demonstrate conceptual thinking. An original thinker, communicator and able to take direction without losing sight of the brief and goals. Energised by the potential and building confidence in the unknown, a positive and inspiring member of Point 3. Able to add creative value to a project through experience, knowledge and skillset. As a Mid-Weight Designer with several years industry experience, you will support the Design & Realisation teams while continuing to develop some of the foundational creative tasks and skills that ensure a creative studio is efficiently and effectively able to produce exciting work.
Key Responsibilities
Applying original thinking, you will be creating ideas, crafting and extending them and briefing realisation to ensure our work is delivered to the highest standard:
- A logical, strategic approach to design.
- Take direction well from the Design Directors and the Client service team.
- Own smaller medium-sized projects with little, or no input from Design Directors and demonstrate exceptional creative, strategic thinking and problem-solving in your work.
- Work closely with the senior creatives and bring a voice to the creation of engaging design strategies. In turn, champion and maintain the design direction on projects and show how your ideas clearly connect to (and from) this.
- Where appropriate, present your work to clients alongside the Design Directors or Client Service team.
- Support and own some of the creative briefs and ensure work seamlessly connects to and from the brief and removes as much subjectivity as possible from our work.
- Have a thorough understanding of the Realisation process and continually seek opportunities to realise brands in the most sustainable way possible.
- Collaborate closely with Design Directors, other Designers and the client management team to help define responses and points of view to clients requests and briefs.
- Demonstrate self-awareness and the ability to communicate up and down.
- Work in a connected, agile and imaginative way with the broader Point 3 team.
- Adhere to process and principles when creating all materials.
- Continued professional development through understanding industry best practices and design processes.
