As An Information Support Officer You Will
- Process material for production to the courts under subpoena or other notices of the courts in accordance with relevant court and procedural rules and the confidentiality provisions of the Child Protection Act 1999.
- Work within a strong and cohesive team delivering materials inside tight mandated timeframes.
- Undertake relevant administrative tasks associated with the management of subpoenas, including with respect to recordkeeping and workflow management.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of subpoena policy, procedure and guidelines for the department.
- Release of departmental documents in accordance with the Right to Information Act 2009 and the Information Privacy Act 2009 or under the department's administrative access arrangements.
- Understand the relevant application of legislation, including (but not limited to) Child Protection Act 1999, Evidence Act 1977, and RTI Act 1999.
- Liaise, consult, negotiate and provide advice to internal and external clients and organisations in relation to specific subpoenas and other notices of the courts.
