This role supports the delivery of high-quality HR services by providing both operational and project-based HR support across the organisation.Working in partnership with business stakeholders, the position contributes to HR projects, capability development initiatives, and organisational improvement programs, while helping to design policies, tools, and strategies that strengthen workforce outcomes, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement.
This role plays an important part in supporting the delivery of high-quality, contemporary HR services across TIQ. Working closely with leaders, employees, and key stakeholders, the position provides both operational HR support and contributes to the planning, development, and delivery of strategic HR initiatives. The role is responsible for assisting across a broad range of people-related matters, including workforce programs, organisational improvement initiatives, and capability development activities that strengthen organisational performance and employee experience.
The position contributes to the design and implementation of HR projects, policies, procedures, tools, and resources that promote consistency, legislative compliance, and continuous improvement. It also supports the evaluation of HR programs and initiatives by gathering insights, analysing outcomes, and recommending practical enhancements. Through research and environmental scanning, the role identifies emerging HR trends, risks, and opportunities, helping to inform practical workforce strategies aligned with organisational priorities.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrated experience providing high-quality operational HR support across a broad range of people management matters, with sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and frameworkss
- Proven ability to contribute to the planning and delivery of HR projects, programs, training, or organisational improvement initiatives within complex environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice to managers and teams.
- Well-developed analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and translate insights into practical actions.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work flexibly across a variety of HR initiatives.
