Description:
Your role within Social and Affordable Housing Growth will support the department to lead the delivery of housing outcomes in partnership with community housing, industry and development partners to increase overall supply. The work you will do helps someone every day, and that means the world to us.You will be responsible for providing high level advice to the General Manager on strategic, operational and corporate governance issues. You will play a role in managing the operations of the Office of the General Manager to ensure quality, professional services to senior management and the Office of the Deputy Director General.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide high level advice to the General Manager on strategic, operational issues and corporate governance issues associated with Social and Affordable Housing Growth.
- Provide an effective liaison on behalf of the General Manager to business areas of Social and Affordable Housing Growth and the Office of the Deputy Director General, other areas of the department and external stakeholders.
- Manage the direction and timely delivery of all correspondence including hot issues briefs and briefing requests on behalf of the office.
- Actively participate in and contribute to the good governance and objects of the business area and the division.
- Establish and maintain productive working relationships within the division, across the division, across the department and Queensland Government.
- Undertake special projects of a complex/sensitive nature as assigned by the General Manager.
- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
