We're on a mission to redefine the customer experience, and we need a passionate Event Coordinator to join our marketing team in Australia and lead the delivery of engaging, high-impact events from concept through to execution.
In this part-time (3-4 days) role, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end planning process, bringing ideas to life, managing budgets and vendors, coordinating logistics, and overseeing on-site delivery. You'll ensure every detail is covered and that each event runs smoothly, aligns with business objectives, and delivers meaningful outcomes.
Requirements
What you'll do:
- Coordinate end-to-end planning including scheduling, logistics, catering, AV Services and guest management for a diverse range of events
- Review and monitor event budgets, ensuring efficient spending and high-quality execution.
- Manage venue selection, negotiate with vendors and partners, coordinate catering, oversee AV setup, arrange travel, and address technical requirements
- Oversee on-site event execution, handling logistics, resolving issues to ensuring a seamless experience
- Conduct post-event evaluations, financial reconciliation, and gather feedback for ongoing improvements in future events
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, sales and leadership to align event objectives with company goals
- Experience in event coordination, including managing multiple events simultaneously
- Strong project coordination, organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience collaborating with multiple teams and departments, clients, vendors and partners
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to tackling challenges as they arise
- Demonstrated experience in managing and optimising event budgets
- Proficiency with CRM tools such as Hubspot advantageous
- Flexibility and willingness to work outside of regular business hours and travel when required
