What You Will Do (key Responsibilities/duties)
As our Recruitment Support Officer, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional recruitment services for the National Fire Ant Eradication Program (NFAEP), a critical initiative within Biosecurity Queensland. Working in a fast-paced and supportive team, you'll play a key role in attracting and onboarding top talent to help protect Queensland's environment and economy.
You will know you're succeeding in the role when you:
Seamlessly coordinate high-volume recruitment activities, including Talent
Assessment Centres, ensuring a smooth and professional process for candidates and stakeholders.
Provide exceptional candidate care and professional support, creating a positive recruitment experience.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring recruitment processes are efficient and effective.
What You Will Bring
We're looking for someone with a strong administrative background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality outcomes.
While no mandatory qualifications are required, you will stand out if you have:
Experience in recruitment or HR, with a focus on customer service and stakeholder engagement.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Familiarity with HR systems such as Aurion or Springboard (desirable, but not essential).
Flexibility and willingness to travel between Caboolture and Burleigh (up to one day per week).
Above all, you'll bring a proactive attitude, a commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for working collaboratively in a team that values diversity and inclusion.
