About The Role
We are currently recruiting a Store Person to join our team in the Wangara Stores. The Store Person will be reporting to Quarantine & Logistics Manager.
The role will include but not be limited to the following;
- Oversees dispatch and receiving activities, including inspecting incoming goods, verifying items against shipment records, gathering and packing items for dispatch in line with specifications and transport requirements, and recording all received and dispatched items.
- Completes cargo repacking, quarantine cleaning, loads, and inspects containers for all required projects in accordance with compliance standards.
- Prepares, loads, and ships start-up containers and site freight,; receives returned containers from projects, inspects and restocks or disposes of contents as required.
- Maintains the Quarantine shed, stores and stock yard areas in a clean, safe, and compliant condition.
- General labour as directed
- Full car licence – MUST HAVE
- Forklift licence – MUST HAVE
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Clear communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Willingness to be part of a team
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and AOD screening.
