Description:
Reporting into the Executive General Manager, this role will manage the company's end-to-end accounting function, with the key responsibilities including:
- Using XERO to oversee the day-to-day financial bookkeeping of the company.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage cash flow and financial planning to support business objectives.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, including General Manager.
- Manage Accounts Payable, Receivable and Payroll function.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess
- CA or CPA qualification.
- XERO system experience (required).
- Prior background working in a SME environment ($1-$20m).
- Extensive knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
