About the Role
You’ll play a key role in the administration, stability, and optimisation of the organisation’s core infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Administration and support across Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure
- Managing Linux and VMware environments, including backup and recovery using Veeam and ShadowProtect
- Supporting enterprise security platforms such as Microsoft Defender, Trend Micro, and DarkTrace
- Developing automation and tooling using PowerShell, Perl, or shell scripting
- Managing and troubleshooting TCP/IP networking and routing
- Translating technical requirements into solutions that support business process improvement
- Delivering technical workshops, user training, and producing clear, practical documentation
- Working within ITIL-aligned change and incident management processes to ensure operational stability
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in an enterprise Systems Administrator role
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience across modern infrastructure and cloud technologies
- Clear communicator who can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with minimal supervision
- A pragmatic problem-solver with a team-first mindset and strong professional integrity
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Oracle Infrastructure and/or Database Administration
- Degree-level qualification in IT or a related discipline
- Background in helpdesk or technical support, bringing a strong customer service mindset
- Experience with Windows Server, Cisco networking, or infrastructure project delivery
