About The Role
In this role, you will manage the assignment, tracking and reporting of correspondence, ensuring accurate records are maintained in line with electronic records management standards. You will support the unit through a broad range of administrative, reporting and records management tasks, processing high volumes of requests accurately and within tight timeframes.
You will assist with the review, formatting and processing of sensitive and confidential correspondence for the Minister and Director-General, applying a strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with departmental guidelines. Building effective working relationships across the department will be central to your success, as will providing clear, professional and timely responses to internal enquiries.
You will also prepare reports to support executive oversight and maintain registers and databases using systems such as Content Manager and Microsoft Office. The role may also involve undertaking other suitable duties consistent with the responsibilities of the position, as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
