Description:

QRIDA is seeking a proven performer with good communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to manage a portfolio of loan accounts, and assess applications for financial assistance where required, in accordance with the various scheme guidelines and make appropriate recommendations to senior decision makers; manage loan arrears and make recommendations in respect to the recovery of existing loan accounts that are in default; assess requests for alterations to loan repayment arrangements and security in accordance with the various scheme guidelines and make appropriate recommendations to senior decision makers; propose and implement Client Management Strategies for clients requiring intensive supervision, work out arrangements, formal recovery action, specific provision and debt write-off.

As the Relationship Officer, you will manage a portfolio of loan accounts, and assess applications for financial assistance in accordance with various scheme guidelines and make appropriate recommendations to senior decision makers.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Attend to the annual review of existing loan accounts and to assess applications for financial assistance where required, in accordance with scheme guidelines.
  • Analyse financial statements and cash flow budgets to determine the true financial position of an enterprise.
  • Follow up the clearance of arrears and make recommendations in respect to the recovery of existing loan accounts that are in default.
  • Assess requests for alterations to loan repayment arrangements and security in accordance with the various scheme guidelines and make appropriate recommendations to senior decision makers.

The Queensland Rural and Industry Development Authority (QRIDA) is a specialist provider of government financial and advisory support to rural and regional Queensland.

As a statutory body of the Queensland Government we have been helping primary producers and industry recover from natural disaster, improve sustainability and profitability, make a start in business, and overcome difficult conditions, for over 30 years.

As the Queensland Government's experts in rural finance, we also administer the State Government's Farm Business Debt Mediation program, the Farm Debt Reconstruction Office, conduct a biennial Rural Debt Survey, undertake research and provide advice to the Minister for Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Communities.

QRIDA is empowered under the Rural and Regional Adjustment Act 1994 to deliver additional programs and services across a range of industry sectors and to local, state and territory governments throughout Australia and for the Australian Government.
